what do you do when
you cant tell if you are happy or sad
when everything good
has the consequence of bad

There is a balance between
laughter and sorrow
but you don’t really see it
till you’ve dropped to low

there was to many chances that passed by

I'll never forget one quote from the movie black hawk down:
"You Americans live long, uninteresting lives"
it seems everything we do is bad for us somehow.
even shampoo and meat, now...
and I can;t remember the quote exactly, but Mark Twain also commented on how in order to live long, you must do everything you hate and are forbidden from everything you enjoy.
I know you meant matters of the heart,
but still, our world is very screwed up.
A quote I read the other day, was
"God is a comedian with an audience whose too afraid to laugh."
